Call for Trainers – Partnership-Building Workshop for Youth NGOs

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis

Youth and Environment Europe is looking for an experienced trainer to design and deliver an online capacity-building workshop on effective collaboration and partnership-building for youth-led organisations.

About the workshop:
With this practical workshop we aim to provide youth NGOs with strategies and tools that will help them understand how to identify potential partners, navigate power dynamics, and sustain long-term collaborations, preparing them to develop cross-sectoral projects.

The workshop is primarily aimed at the participants from youth-led climate organisations supporting them in learning how to collaborate with actors beyond the environmental field, including those working on migration, anti-racism, gender, social justice and other topics. However, цу also welcome participants from a wider range of youth organisations working towards systemic change.

About the project
This workshop is a part of the Bridging Movements project – a new initiative of Youth and Environment Europe, aiming to advance climate justice efforts by strengthening collaboration between climate and social justice sectors.

We recognise that climate justice is deeply intertwined with social justice issues such as migration, racism, gender inequality, and that our collective response must reflect this understanding. Guided by this intersectional approach, the project provides space for collaboration between young actors from both environmental and social fields through research, networking, training and further development of locally-led projects.

Practical information
To help us organise this capacity-building activity, we are looking for a skilled trainer/facilitator who brings an expertise in partnership-building, networking, and cooperation and who shares a deep commitment to intersectionality and movement solidarity.

  • Format and duration:online workshop (up to 4 hours maximum plus preparation and debrief with the team);
  • Training dates: second or third week of November 2025 (final date to be agreed with the selected candidate);
  • Compensation: a fixed total fee of 390 EUR for the preparation and delivery of the workshop;
  • Application deadline: on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Co-design the workshop agenda, methods and learning materials together with the YEE team, including attending online preparation and debrief calls;
  • Deliver an engaging online training (maximum of 4 hours, in one day or split into two sessions);
  • Facilitate reflection, dialogue, and practical exercises that support participants in developing partnership strategies;
  • Provide accessible materials and practical tools for further learning and a short summary of key outcomes after the workshop.
