Pride Africa 2025 celebrates a historic moment for LGBTQ+ advocacy on the African continent, bringing together over 200 delegates from 54 countries in Kigali, Rwanda. This will advance a collective commitment to advancing the human rights, dignity, and equality of LGBTQ+ persons across Africa, emphasizing the values of Ubuntu, respect for diversity, and justice, underscoring the fundamental belief that all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, expression, or sexual characteristics, deserve equal rights and protection in line with both regional and international human rights frameworks.
Pride Africa 2025 is hosted by Feminist Action Development Ambition (FADA) Rwanda.
Application guidelines:
- Applicants must demonstrate their contribution to the LGBTQ+ community and movement in their application.
- Only applicants affiliated to an organization working either directly or remotely on LGBTQ+ programming will be considered.
- Travel Documents and reference letters from the affiliated organization must be uploaded on the application form or sent to fadarwanda@gmail.com . (ATTACHMENT)
