About Noor
Noor is a global feminist and movement-driven think-and-do tank with deep expertise in tracking and resisting far-right movements. With roots in long-standing feminist and progressive struggles, Noor plays a key role in building connective infrastructure, linking frontline groups, strengthening strategic coordination, and deepening trust across movements and regions. At a time when far-right actors are rapidly consolidating power, Noor is helping movements pivot toward collective resistance and toward the bold, intersectional feminist futures we’ve long imagined.
About the School
Noor’s multi-year popular education school is grounded in feminist, anti-fascist, and anti-fundamentalist resistance. Our framework is around building a space where movement leaders can exchange learning across sectors, evolve tactics, and deepen shared strategy. Each cycle will focus on a specific theme to build a cadre of organizers rooted in the Global South that can counter the far right effectively and co-build resistance infrastructures.
What is Know your enemy?
Know Your Enemy is a practical and rigorous political formation space tailored for those confronting the far right in real-time, designed for individuals who are determined to resist and actively work collectively towards our transformative visions of a better future. Together, we will explore how this transnational FR project operates, and refine our tools to expose and oppose far-right movements while building collective power.
The five-week online school is a pilot program aimed at equipping organizers with strong political analysis and practical strategies for facing the far right in increasingly repressive contexts. It is committed to:
- Foster a collective understanding of the far-right as a transnational political project, exploring its ideological, cultural, and geopolitical dimensions.
- Connect global theories of the far-right with localized tactics, emphasizing narrative, propaganda, illicit funding, and institutional infiltration to enhance counteraction efforts.
- Equip participants with tools and approaches to broaden their strategic vision and improve current practices while introducing context-specific tactics.
- Build a dedicated cohort of 20 politically aligned participants ready to apply and expand their skills.
Over five engaging online sessions, we will explore and delve into several key aspects, including foundational theories, practical applications, and the latest trends. Each session will feature interactive discussions, expert insights, and hands-on activities and readings designed to deepen your understanding and foster meaningful connections.
