Funded by the Agence française de développement and the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Feminist Opportunities Now (FON) project aims to strengthen local feminist organisations fighting gender-based violence around the world.. Started in 2022 and led by several associative partners, this project directly finances feminist organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and offers a range of training courses and tools for sustainable action.
As part of the project’s “capacity building” component, Empow’Her has mobilised its expertise in entrepreneurship support to design an e-learning programme of nine modules for local feminist organisations. They are grouped into three themes and aim to strengthen organisational structure and teams.
Empow’Her is a feminist organisation dedicated to the social and economic empowerment of women. Since 2013, it has been rallying around a common vision: feminist and inclusive entrepreneurship as a source of empowerment for women and a catalyst for societal transformation.
