EGLSF is a European network of sport clubs, organisations, and activists working to advance inclusion, equality, participation, and human rights in and through sport. Through European cooperation
projects, advocacy initiatives, capacity-building programmes, research activities, and engagement actions, EGLSF supports its members and partners in creating safer, more inclusive, and equitable sporting
environments for LGBTIQ+ people and other underrepresented groups.
To support the implementation of its activities, EGLSF is launching this Call for Experts to establish a roster of external experts who may be contracted on an as-needed basis to provide specialised expertise in
areas related to research, gender equality, capacity building, event management, participation, advocacy, and organisational development.
Objectives of the Call
The objective of this Call is to identify experienced professionals able to support the organisation in one or more of the following areas:
- Research, data collection, and policy analysis
- Development of practical guidelines and knowledge resources
- Capacity building and organisational development
- Facilitation of peer learning and community exchange
- Design and facilitation of participatory processes
- Planning and coordination of international events and conferences
- Stakeholder engagement and networking
- Dissemination and communication activities linked to project outputs
Areas of Expertise
EGLSF is seeking experts with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
Area 1 – Research and Policy
Support may include:
- Research and data collection
- Policy analysis and development
- Gender equality and intersectionality
- Development of guidelines, recommendations and toolkits
- Drafting reports, policy briefs and knowledge products
- Stakeholder consultations and evidence gathering
- Dissemination and presentation of research findings
- Support to advocacy and policy development initiatives
Area 2 – Events and Participation
Support may include:
- Planning and coordination of conferences, seminars and meetings
- Design of participatory methodologies and networking activities
- Stakeholder engagement and community-building initiatives
- Development of event programmes and agendas
- Speaker identification and liaison
- Preparation of participant materials and information packs
- Facilitation of networking and exchange activities
- Support to communication and visibility activities linked to events
Area 3 – Capacity Building and Peer Learning
Support may include:
- Design and delivery of training activities
- Development of learning resources and methodologies
- Facilitation of peer-learning and communities of practice
- Organisational development support
- Mentoring and coaching of beneficiary organisations
- Knowledge capture and lesson-learning processes
- Facilitation of reflection and evaluation activities
- Development of recommendations and learning outputs
Level of Effort and Budget
Selected experts will be included in EGLSF’s roster of external experts. Assignments will be awarded on an as-needed basis according to project requirements, expertise, availability, geographical considerations, and value for money.
The scope, timeline, deliverables, and remuneration of each assignment will be agreed separately through individual service contracts.
EGLSF does not guarantee any minimum number of assignments or volume of work.

- Relevant examples of previous work
- Proposed daily fee in EUR
Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis, and EGLSF may select experts and conclude service contracts before the closing date where operational needs so require. The publication of this Call does not create any obligation for EGLSF to award contracts or to engage a minimum number of experts
