UPR Info is organizing Pre-sessions in advance of the 45th UPR Working Group. The Pre-sessions will take place from 28 November to 1 December 2023 in person, in Geneva. These Pre-sessions will include discussions on the situation of human rights in the following countries: Belize, Central African Republic, Republic of Chad, People’s Republic of China,Republic of the Congo, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Malaysia, Malta, Republic of Mauritius, Mexico, Principality of Monaco, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Senegal.
The call for applications is now open. Civil society organisations (CSOs) and National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) representatives are invited to fill out the application form.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, UPR Info will offer a travel grant to some successful applicants. Civil society organisations (CSOs) from the following countries can apply for a grant: Republic of Senegal, Central African Republic, Republic of Chad, Republic of the Congo, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Belize. The grant includes accommodation, airfare and per diems for up to 6 days in Geneva. To apply for the grant, please fill out one of the following forms: Republic of Senegal, Central African Republic, Republic of Chad, Republic of the Congo, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Belize. Due to limited financial resources, not all applicants who apply for a grant can be selected to receive this grant. For organisations that do not require a grant, please apply via the normal link.
