The Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) is a non-profit organisation working to advance the rights and equality of trans people and their families. Through advocacy, education, peer support, and community building, TENI seeks to create a world where all trans people are respected, recognised, and free to thrive.

Role Overview
TENI  is hiring a Research and Policy Manager to support our work. The Research and Policy Manager will be responsible for developing TENI’s policy positions on key issues affecting the trans community. They will be required to represent these positions in stakeholder meetings, public forums and meetings with government officials.

This person will also maintain and manage all research opportunities for TENI. 

The Research and Policy Manager will be a key member of TENI’s leadership team, with some people management responsibilities. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the policy space, and will have good knowledge of the key issues affecting trans and non binary people in Ireland today.

This position will be full-time, 5 days per week (37.5 hours). This is a permanent contract.
