East Africa Trans Health & Advocacy and Trans Network (EATHAN) is inviting nominations from across our membership for seats on our Board. This is an opportunity for trans, intersex, and gender diverse people involved in the work of our member organisations to take a formal leadership role in shaping EATHAN’s direction as a regional network.
Who can be nominated?
To be considered, a nominee must:
- Identify as a trans, intersex, or non-binary person
- Be a representative of an EATHAN member organisation that has been a member for at least two years, with a paid membership fee
- Have at least three years of experience in ITGD activism in their country and the East African region
- Have good standing with EATHAN and good rapport within their organisation
- Have reliable enough internet connectivity to participate in online meetings and email correspondence
- Have a working understanding of English and/or Swahili as these are the primary languages used at the moment
- Be willing to commit to full, active participation for the duration of their term

The information provided on this form shall be used to develop a candidate profile to be shared with the membership for the constitution of the Board.
