Call for Participation: Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa Young Leaders Forum – 2017

OSIEA is organizing the 2nd OSIEA Young Leaders Forum (YLF), a 3-days long, annual program of dialogue, workshops and capacity building sessions bringing youth between the age of 18-35 years, from social-political movements, business start-ups, social enterprises, civil society, international organizations and public institutions from across Africa. It is aimed at connecting youth to share experiences and learn from each other on the selected themes, discuss challenges they face and plan way forward to address them. It will bring youth in touch with their peers, researchers, entrepreneurs, influential speakers and development partners.

Convened for the first time in 2016, Young Leaders Forum invited 120 youth from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, South Sudan and Burundi to discuss themes centered on Social Movements, Technology and Innovation and Sustainable Development from 1st – 3rd November, 2016. This year, the Young Leaders Forum will be held from November 15-17, 2017 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, inviting young leaders from across Africa. Apply here

    My name is Amruta Alpesh Soni . I am transgender living with HIV in India and want share some of the life story and fact of the life . How can i be part of this conference and also want to share what is life in India of trans leaving with Double stigma and discrimination .
