The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) is currently inviting applicants for its Young Gender Justice Activists program on the theme “Achieving Gender Justice & Reconciliation” to recognise the contribution of young people across the continent.
IJR recognises persons or organisations that do exceptional reconciliation work. Parallel to the main award, the IJR would like to recognise 10 young activists who are doing exceptional work in the Gender Justice Field in Africa.
1. Nominees have to be between the ages of 18 – 35
2. Nominees must be young people doing exceptional Gender Justice work in Africa
3. Evidence must be provided to prove work carried out (These include reports, photos, videos, links to campaigns and/or links)
4. Selected candidates will be profiled in annual Newsletter, digital media networks as well as our database for further engagements and possible collaborations.
